Writing practice
Knowing a character when you see it isn’t the same as writing it. Hanzee shows you the meaning and you write the word on a 田字格 practice grid. Each stroke is checked for shape, direction and order, and a red 对 seal tells you when you’ve got it.
Stroke order
Every character in the dictionary comes with an animated stroke order, drawn with brush-shaped strokes the way a teacher would write it. Replay it as often as you like, then switch to practice and try it yourself.
HSK 3.0
The HSK exam changed. Hanzee is built on the new HSK 3.0 word lists, in their official order, with the reading each level actually tests. Browse a level, open any word, or study the whole level as flashcards with one tap.
Flashcards
Flip cards to check what you remember, or switch to writing mode and draw the answer from memory before you turn the card over. Build your own decks from the dictionary — “Food”, “Travel”, whatever you’re learning — and shuffle them for a fresh order.
